Union City is continuing its investment in community identity and neighborhood pride through a new placemaking initiative supported by the Georgia Municipal Association. City leaders announced that Union City has been awarded a Georgia Economic Placemaking Grant in the amount of $2,000 through the Georgia Municipal Association to support the creation and installation of decorative pole banners throughout key corridors across the city.
